He did his residency at Utah State University, spent one year in Oregon and has been in Riverton ever since (over 18 years). 19 of his 20 years have been spent in small animal medicine.

He has also taught surgical assistant skills to students at a local veterinary technical center and frequently goes to local schools for career days.
